Tears of beauty at Victoria Falls
This is a close up image of the Victoria Falls in Zambia during low flows. Only during this time of the year, you can see the individual water streams falling as tears and you also see the rocks behind the falls. During high flows, this image would change into a massive wall of water. Did you know the waterfalls have been receding upstream as a result of the many cracks in the basaltic rocks? So this beautiful view becomes even more dynamic.
