EGU Photo Competition

About

Since 2010, the European Geosciences Union (EGU) has been holding an annual photo competition and exhibit in association with its General Assembly and with Imaggeo. In 2013, we also introduced a moving image competition, which features a short clip of continuous geoscience footage. Pre-registered conference participants can take part by submitting up to three original photos and one moving image on any broad theme related to the Earth, planetary and space sciences.

The competition runs some two months before each General Assembly, and opens for submissions from 22 January to 28 March. You can enter a photo or moving image into the competition by uploading it to Imaggeo and electing to include it in the EGU Photo Competition.

Please note that you must be pre-registered for the conference before 28 March in order to take part in the contest.
