Zambezi – providing a trail of life
In this image you can see the Zambezi River near the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe during low flows. Around that time, local people come regularly for fishing. Some of them even go fishing only a couple of metres upstream of the 100 m drop! This would be impossible during high flows as the river then becomes massive.
