Purog Kangri Glacier Terminus
The Purog Kangri glacier is located within the Qiangtang National Nature Reserve on the Qinghai–Xizang Plateau. Covering an area of approximately 422 square kilometers and with its lowest elevation reaching 5,350 meters above sea level, it is the largest known mid- to low-latitude glacier in the world.
