Pumo Yumco — The Sapphire Among the Himalayas

The Pumo Yumco is the highest freshwater lake in southern Xizang (Tibet), situated at an elevation of 5,010 meters above sea level and covering an area of 290 square kilometers. Its waters are fed mainly by the snowmelt from the Kula Kangri Mountains.
