
Miocene Yellow Silt Loam

This is a Miocene (lower Serravallian) Yellow Silt Loam located in Cala Fonda (or now also known as Waikiki beach), Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). Note the upper lamination due to aeolian sedimentation in a reducing environment, like coastal marshes.
