The Stone Flower
A disharmonically folded Cretaceous rock in the Peter the First Range, an actively deforming foreland basin in Tajikistan. The fold is known as "Kamcnii Tsvetok" (the stone flower), a box-fold in Paleogene limestone and mudstone.
