Thick wax cuticula of this water luck sensitive moss causes excessing rainfall and waterflow to be captured while it provides sufficient air beneath reserves as well. Passing animals crush water pools into drops that get settled among moss' growth tops. The shown piece I've discovered in awet subarctic area nearby a glacier tongue in Narvik Rocks.
