Tianchi (Chinese for "heaven lake") is the deepest lake in China. It's a crater lake atop the volcanic Changbai Mountains. The altitude of the lake is 2154 m. Lake area of 9.82 km2, The maximum depth of the lake can reach 384 m, with an average depth of 213 m.
