Sinkhole lake system at the Dead Sea

This photo, taken by a quattrocopter at ~150 m altitude, shows the fascinating sinkhole and lake system that develops at the border of the Dead Sea due to the recession of the lake. Multiple sinkholes merge into lake systems connected by stream channels that discharge into the Dead Sea.
