Anna surveys BIFoR FACE (and cleans the flux kit)
Fieldwork Assistant Anna Gardner maintaining the flux equipment at the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research Free-Air Carbon Enrichment facility (BIFoR FACE). Because the FACE facility exposes forest patches to 150 ppm extra of CO2 mixed into air, this forest is one of only two in the world where the daytime flux of CO2 is massive and upward from the forest canopy!
