The sleeping giant: Taal volcano at sunset

This photo was taken at the joint AOGS-EGU hazards meeting on the final night, capturing the splendid majesty of the sleeping Taal volcano at sunset. The lights from the cars and buildings highlight the communities around the lake living in the shadow of the volcano, and the considerable risks associated with this location.
