Calcite vein interactions
by Max Arndt, RWTH-Aachen University Geologie Endogene Dynamik, Aachen, Germany
Two calcite veins in limestons show an interesting interaction. Curving veins haven't been observed in this area so far. The overprinting relationship are a challlenge as well.
The foto is taken in map view. Boot for scale (I'm sorry for that). Top of Jabal Sarrah, Western Jabal Akhdar Anticline, Oman Mountains.
