
Not Just a Concrete Jungle - Tai Lam Chung, Hong Kong
View over Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, Tuen Mun District, Hong Kong. Tai Lam Reservoir is found on Stage 10 of the MacLehose Trail, a rural hike tucked behind the expanding urban sprawl of Hong Kong's built up areas. Weathered Tai Lam Granite seen around the edges of the reservoir. Tai Lam Granite is porphyritic, medium- to fine-grained leucogranite of Jurassic age.
