Fumarole Ice Cave at Mount Meager Volcano
At Mount Meager volcano (British Columbia, Canada) the glaciers are retreating and last year for the first time fumaroles pierced through the ice. We do not know in detail the effects of glacier retreat on the volcanic system.
Alex Wilson and Glyn William-Jones are measuring the gas composition to constrain the fumarole activity.
