The Tigger Particle (ATD)
by Daniel Moon
In order to characterise the shape and surface of mineral dusts I used with my aerosol flow tube experiments I imaged these particles using a Scanning Electron Microscope. When I imaged a Arizona Test Dust particle it had an uncanny resemblance to Tigger from Winner the Pooh. I thought this could be a major discovery and decided to image more ATD particles in case I could find more "Tigger particles". However, when I looked I couldn't find anymore, then I realised that the wonderful thing about Tigger is that there is only one.
