Frosty fence with robin
Spiky hoarfrost, or air hoar, has made this wire fence look much more beautiful than usual on this freezing morning. Hoarfrost forms in a similar way to dew, but when the temperature of the surface is below freezing. Additional water can condense on to the hoarfrost to lengthen the spikes.
