Steam rises from Nakadake Crater at Mount Aso
Mount Aso is one of the world’s largest active volcanic systems, located in Kyushu, southern Japan. Its vast caldera was formed by massive eruptions, and the Nakadake crater remains active today, emitting steam and volcanic gases continuously.
