Snow and volcanic heat: a monkey heaven
A snowy valley, a river heated by volcanic processes deep below and lovely natural pools, a perfect combination for the snow monkeys after a busy day in Jigokudani Valley. Seeing them lazying in the (very) hot water, I wouldn't have minded sharing their break !
