Giant trees and ancient mountains

Taiwan consists for almost two-thirds of mountains, and amongst these peaks stands Beidawushan. It is the heighest mountain in Southern Taiwan, just over 3000m in elevation. This beautiful area is renowed for it's ancient threes, some over a thousand years old. These ancient trees hold significant cultural and ecological importance and together with the mountains and a sea of clouds, they form an almost magical landscape.
