The Majestic Half Dome
This photo of Half Dome, Yosemite National Park (California, USA) was taken from Glacier Point overlook that provides unimpeded view of many iconic landforms and waterfalls of Yosemite. The pine trees at the base of the rock suggest local genesis and accumulation of soil over thousands of years of weathering.
