The D/V Chikyu loading the Sun during IODP expedition 380
In the morning of the 28th January 2018, the D/V Chikyu in operation offshore Japan in the Pacific Ocean, loaded the new dawn for the world. One could say it kind of makes sens for a ship built in the Land of the rising Sun.
