Rain and sun over a X-band radar
The HMCO-ENPC X-band radar is "watching" the shower about wet it and blue-green wave test site below, while the sun plays with the clouds in the sky. Looking closer in the middle, you can see that there are actually another localized shower. The shower lasted no more than few minutes. This single picture illustrates very well the extreme spatial variability of rainfall fields.
