Classic Supercell in Oklahoma
A classic supercell is the king of all thunderstorms and a great sight to witness. This panorama image shows such a storm in its early stages in western Oklahoma, on 16 May 2017. Even from a single image, you can envision how the entire updraft tower is rotating while feeding from warm and moist air at its base.
