Storm Relative Airflow

Avatar

by Michiel Baatsen

Looking right into the inflow base of a supercell, this time lapse footage shows the different flows of air in and around the storm. It is mesmerising to watch the various flows and changes in cloud structures moving around quickly, while the base of the storm itself is almost stationary.
