Red Lake
by Constantina Porumbescu, Landslide Hazard- NH3.6, Bucharest, Romania
The Red Lake was formed in 1837, when after many storms in a row, a huge piece of stone separated from The Killer Mountain and blocked several creeks. The only witnesses of this natural calamity are the spruce fir stumps (the black points in the water).
