
Fuelling the Global Warming Debate

Global warming is expected to cause vegetation change in the long term. How these changes will alter wildfire activity are of increasing concern in regards to the threat to human life and to ecosystems processes. This image shows testing the burning behaviour of vegetation using a state-of-the-art fire propagation apparatus.
