Guardian of the forest

I was in Costa Rica with prof. Christian Birkel trying to develop my master thesis. He brought me at the Reserva Biológica Alberto Manuel with his students to have some lessons about tropical rainfall and streamflow regimes. I remember a chat we had about hydrologists, behing a kind of "guardians of forests". That chat, apparently, annoyed someone and this nice dude in the picture, hiding between the leaves outside by bedroom, remembered me all night long who is the real guardian of the forest!
