The beach of rice grains
The Arutas beach is located in the protected area of Sinis, in Sardinia/Italy. This corner of paradise is one of its kind. On the photo, you can observe different kind of pebbles, these are small grains of quartz with different shades of pink, green and white. These sediments derive from the slow disintegration of porphyritic granites under the action of environmental events.
