by Konstantinos Kourtidis, Demokritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece
The statue of Fuerst Karl Wrede in Munich. The green patina forms naturally on copper due to weathering from the atmospheric elements, and usually consists of a mixture of copper carbonate, copper chloride and copper sulphide.
