Renland Ice Cap, East Greenland
The Renland ice cap is situated on a 2 km high elevation plateau on the Renland peninsula in the Scoresbysund Fjord in Eastern Greenland.
In the spring 2015 was the ice cap visited for the first time since the 1980s to drill a new ice core which covers a time period of more than 100,000 years.
