Into the dark 2: exploring englacial conduits in Svalbard
by Evan Miles
As part of the UNIS AG-825 Glaciology course, students conduct diverse fieldwork in Svalbard in February-March. Here, Professor Doug Benn is leading a group of students through relic englacial conduits near the terminus of Rabotbreen in Svalbard, a unique opportunity to learn about the forms and processes associated with englacial transport of water.
