The Kongsvegen, Sidevegen, and Holtabreen glaciers
by Andy Smedley, University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Taken shortly after our departure from Ny Alesund after our first "Lost Meteorites" field trial, the return flight gave incredible views of the surrounding landscape. This is the where the Kongsvegen, Sidevegen, and Holtabreen glaciers converge, and in the distance the peaks of the Tre Kroner.
