The small lake (approximately 800 m by 300 m) is located in the Glyderau mountains of Snowdonia in the north of Wales. The lake was formed by a glacier during the last ice age. It gets his water from numerous small streams and one small river flows out. One can enjoy the beauty of the landscape on a hike that leads around the lake. Here you can see the traces of the former glaciation (glacial boulders, moraines, glacial scratch marks).
