Low Tide at Alexandra Fjord

Ice flows and ice bergs become stranded at low tide on the south shore of Alexandra Fjord, Ellesmere Island, Canada. Large, flat pieces of ice may break under their own weight as they settle onto the rocks and mud of the intertidal flats.
