
Stalagmite

Giant stalagmite column in the entrance of Antiparos cave, Greece. The cave lies almost at the top of a 200-m hill in the island of Antiparos and descends almost vertically about 70 m into the ground. The depicted part ofthe stalagmite is about 4 m high.
