Badlands from Pisticci (Basilicata, Italy)

The Badlands of Pisticci, located in the Basilicata region of southern Italy, are strikingly eroded clay formations known as "calanchi." These unique landscapes, shaped by wind and water over centuries, create a surreal, almost lunar scenery that contrasts sharply with the region's verdant hills and historic towns.
