The picture shows the riverbank erosion hazard along the Surinam River in South America in the Amazon Forest. The picture on the left shows the progressive erosion of the riverbank, while the one on the right depicts the unfortunate and inevitable future destiny of the tree. Both pictures were taken in June 2023.
