Salty Waves at Spiky Shores
Waves in the uppermost salt layers of the Salar de Uyuni in Boliva break at the shores of Isla del Pescado, an island in a gigantic salt lake hosting spiky plants and rocks. The waves probably are generated by wind after rain made the uppermost salt soft and flexible and then is dried again by the sun.
