The APE-GAIA (Airborne Polar Experiment - Geophysica Aircraft In Antractica) mission - the group of scientist and technicians participating in the field campaign with the M-55 Geophysica high altitude research aircraft equipped with remote-sensing and in situ instruments for observation of stratospheric ozone depletion and recovery at the boundary of the Southern Polar Vortex in the period from 15 September to 15 Ocober 1999. The picture i taken at the operative base of the APE-GAIA mission, i.e. the international airport of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argenina (for more details, see: http://ga.ifac.cnr.it/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=16&Itemid=25).
