The APE-GAIA (Airborne Polar Experiment - Geophysica Aircraft In Antractica) mission - the group of scientist and technicians participating in the field campaign with the M-55 Geophysica high altitude research aircraft equipped with remote-sensing and in situ instruments for observation of stratospheric ozone depletion and recovery at the boundary of the Southern Polar Vortex in the period from 15 September to 15 Ocober 1999.
