Peña Montañesa, Ainsa Basin
This photo covers the frontal part of the Peña Montañesa trhust-sheet in the Ainsa foreland basin. The Peña Montañesa, represented by a sequence of folded Cretaceous to Paleocene limestones and shales, lies on top of younger Eocene syntectonically deposited turbidites.
