Due to continuous erosional action and tectonic upliftment of eastern coast of India, Eastern Ghats bear a lots of geomorphological features. Difference in weathering resistance of rocks in Eastern Ghat also plays a vital role in the formation of stiff cliff along the eastern coast of India.
