
Deomali Peak of Eastern Ghats

It is the highest peak of Eastern Ghats region of Odisha. It is situated at a height of 1672 m above the mean sea level. Deomali is dotted with brooks and deep valleys, and inhabited by tribes such Kandhas, Parajas, Bhumia, Malis and Bhotias.
