Sea ice drilling and the pink sun of the antarctic winter!
During the 2017 PIPERS expedition in the Antarctic winter, a team of Belgian researchers was drilling sea ice and enjoying the little sunlight when the sun was finally reaching the horizon and harboring amazing colors.
