
Looking through a window into the Arctic future?

As Arctic sea ice extent and thickness decrease year by year and are predicted to continue to do so under most IPCC RCP scenarios, this shot of sea ice during a sunny summer day in the Hudson Bay gives a metaphoric view into a possible future for Arctic sea ice: more and more melting, drop by drop.
