This photo was taken on February 17, near Kibbutz Or-Haner, Israel. The object in the background is a new production well under construction process. This well is one of a battery of about 30 new saline water production wells that intended for desalination plants. The construction of these wells is a major part of the general plan to rehabilitates and to stop salinization processes of the southern part of the Coastal Aquifer of Israel.
