A rare sight of a calm North Sea and a blue sky. View to the rear end of research vessel FS Heincke from atop the bridge during cruise HE441 (PI: PD Dr. Christian Winter). On deck the two autonomous observatories SedObs and LANCE, as well as trawl resistant bottom mounts are waiting for deployment.
