Lauzon Lake, Valgaudemar
by Cédric Rebolho, Irstea, Antony, France
The Lauzon Lake, located in the Valgaudemar valley (Écrins National Park, France), fills a basin formed by a glacier thousands of years ago. The lake has a great aquatic life (fishes and vegetation) which gives the water its green color, making it perfectly integrated in its environment.
