Colorful rainbow on the sky above Etna
On 4 December 2015 an eruptive rainbow colored the sky above the summit of Etna. The Voragine crater (on the right) produced powerful reddish lava fountains, dark-brownish tephra plumes and whitish gas columns, while from the New-Southeast Crater (on the left) a pinkish ash emission was taking place from a small-pit-crater.
